Data Retrieval
Instructions
Integrated Messaging provides a facility for
clients to retrieve data and reports via the World Wide
Web.
Security Information
Security is important to us. IMI uses several layers of
robust security technology to help ensure the confidentiality
of information across the Internet.
The first security
level begins with your Web browser. When you access secure
areas of our web site, your browser is checked by IMI to
ensure that it meets our minimum requirements. Additionally,
we only allow customers with browsers that use 128-bit
encryption (one of the highest levels of browser security
available today) to retrieve confidential data.
The
browser validation will verify the browser type you are using,
your browser encryption level, the version of Netscape or
Microsoft browser. To access secured data, you need to use
128-bit encryption technology :
- a Netscape browser version 4.06 or better with a minimum
128-bit encryption technology
- a Microsoft browser version 4.01 SP2 or better with a
minimum 128-bit encryption technology
If your browser does not meet all of these requirements,
you will need to upgrade your browser.
Zip file handling
You may require a few items to be setup on your computer
prior to being able to access our secure ZIP data files. There
are many programs available to process Zip files. One of our
favourites is WinZip
(click to visit the WinZip site).
Automating file downloads
Rather than using the web browser interface you may want to
automate the retrieval of files from our web site. The program
CURL allows you to build a
command line to retrieve individual files.
You must know the name of the file to be downloaded. This
should not be difficult since the name of most includes the
date.
Example curl use on windows: bat file.
Example curl use on unix based systems: bash script.
Privacy Assurance (click on

As you are aware, new legislation became effective January
1, 2004 with respect to the Personal Information Protection
and Electronic Documents Act. (PIPEDA). In order to be fully
compliant Integrated Messaging has adopted a Privacy Policy.
Our role as a call centre may require that we capture, process
and store personal information on your behalf. This document
outlines how we will protect that information. The assurance
must be given by all clients that they also protect personal
information.
